The absolute best way to experience the benefit you‘ll get from working with a youPlus coach is to try our Eye Opener session. For just $49, you’ll spend 45 minutes with a youPlus™ coach who will answer any questions you have and engage you in a real coaching conversation about a personal topic or goal that you bring to the table. If you are not satisfied—for any reason whatsoever—your entire $49 fee will be refunded. That’s how confident we are that you find coaching to be an invaluable addition to your life.
A Coach is just like a personal fitness trainer. He or she unlocks your abilities, champions your potential, provides encouragement during tough workouts, holds you accountable to show up for training sessions, and celebrates your accomplishments. That’s exactly what a youPlus™ Coach does for virtually every other aspect of your life.
Coaching is a proven way to affect meaningful change in your life. This might mean tackling a specific goal or problem. Or it might start with a more general sense of wanting “more” out of life—even if you can’t articulate what exactly that means yet. In either case, you’re buying the ability to achieve results and define the life you want to live.
One of the primary reasons why coaching is so effective is that, through a longer term commitment, you learn to become accountable to yourself and others. This results in constant and wonderful forward movement. The next thing you know; you are at your goal—and life is better, richer, and more satisfying. Four months is usually the minimum amount of time for momentum to build to a noticeable level. At youPlus™, we are not in the business of delivering mediocre results; we want you to achieve astonishing results.
Our coaching services are guaranteed. At any time in the process if you are not satisfied, you can receive a refund for your most recent session as well as any unused sessions.
Most people don’t know that many research activities have validated the impact of coaching. For example, a study published in 2003 by Anthony M. Grant at the University of Sydney showed life coaching to be an effective approach to creating positive change, enhancing mental health and life experience and facilitating goal attainment in normal, non-clinical populations.
Further, the life coaching program also appeared to enhance quality of life and mental health (e.g., participants’ reported levels of depression, anxiety and stress were significantly reduced), even though the enhancement of mental health and life quality were not specifically targeted in the life coaching program. (Anthony M. Grant, “The Impact of Life Coaching on Goal Attainment”, Social Behavior and Personality, 2003, pp 253-264)
There is a also a rapidly growing body of evidence concerning the effectiveness of coaching as a behavioral intervention for health-related issues/trends such as aging, anxiety/stress, asthma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cancer, diabetes, mental health, depression, and physical fitness. (Dr. Don Morrow, Using Coaching as a Health Intervention, Coaching World)
Our Customer Connection Team personally selects your coach for you. This isn’t based on a secret algorithm—it’s based on rapport and our extensive experience knowing what makes a great coach/client relationship.
While it is common practice in the industry for coaches to serve very narrow niches, youPlus takes a different, more holistic approach. Our coaches are trained to coach the whole individual—not just one piece. While this initially may seem counter-intuitive, the reality is that life doesn’t happen in narrow niches and issues or goals rarely exist independently of the other facets of our lives. Trust us on this!
The overwhelming majority of our matches work very well. And in those cases where the match does not work for some reason, we will quickly match you with a new coach based on your feedback and at no cost to you.
If you have more questions about this process or have a particular request, please call us at 877-875-8744 and a member of our Customer Connection Team will answer any questions you have or get you started with a great youPlus coach!
All youPlus coaches are trained by The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) as professional co-active coaches. In training, they are rigorously assessed—live and in front of peers—in both the quality of their coaching under pressure and the impact they have as a leader. All youPlus™ coaches have either attained certification as a professional co-active coach or are currently completing the CTI certification program.
In addition, every youPlus Coach has been hand-picked and trained in our exclusive Coaches Quality Model™.
These requirements assure that all of our coaches are providing consistently high quality services—and allow us to guarantee that you’ll get the results you’re looking for.
The question really is, “Does my coach need to have expertise in the area of life that I’m working on?” And the short answer is no. That’s because the CTI co-active coaching process is focused on coaching the entire individual—not just one piece. While this initially may seem counter-intuitive, the reality is that life doesn’t happen in narrow niches and issues or goals rarely exist independently of the other facets of our lives. You may start in one area and expand into several others over the course of your coaching relationship.
Sometimes, the most insightful and fulfilling sessions occur when the coach has little to no direct experience with a particular issue—because the focus really is on coaching rather than mentoring or imparting their own beliefs.
That said, all of our coaches have a wealth of life and professional experiences as well as academic or vocational qualifications from a diverse range of fields.
The Co-Active Coaching model was created by The Coaches Training Institute. It is one of the most prestigious models in the world of coaching and is presented in its entirety in the book Co-Active Coaching: New Skills for Coaching People Toward Success in Work and Life. There also have been several whitepapers written to explain how CTI’s unique Co-Active Coaching Model serves different aspects of personal and corporate life.
What’s most important for you to know as a client is that this model of coaching believes in the fact that every human being is born Naturally Creative, Resourceful and Whole. Along the way, we may develop roadblocks, sickness, patterns that do not serve us, but at the core of every human being, there is this place that is full of potential, resource, and wisdom. Your youPlus coaches are experts at unlocking this source for you. It is a proven fact that when you learn to interact with this natural part of yourself, you will thrive and grow. When you focus on the parts of you that are fearful or stuck, you will continue to be stuck and erode away your confidence and potential. This is what sets Co-Active Coaching apart from other models of coaching, the client is the star of the conversation, not the coach.
The second thing you need to know is that we coach the full human experience—your whole life. Your coach is not necessarily the experts on your specific topic, nor does he or she strive to be. However, you coach is an expert at helping you identify your human processes in everything that you do, so that you can achieve and succeed in every aspect of your life.
This model of coaching has been adopted and translated into several languages and cultures all over the world: including Dubai, Israel, Turkey, S Korea, Japan, China, Europe, and of course North America, Canada and the United States.

In every session, you will experience four distinct components:
1. A strong connection with your coach. Coaching works because of the trust and empowerment of the relationship between the coach and client. You will get to see how powerful it is to have a true ally in your corner helping you find your own answers.
2. Concepts and tools to apply in your daily life. We all need someone in our corner giving us tools and frameworks to help us develop and thrive. This is why our clients stay with us a long time—because they’re constantly learning and growing.,
3. Empowerment: Learning from your coach is important, but not as important as you arriving at your own answers and being inspired by who you are becoming. This is where you will grow your confidence, get clear on what you want, and commit to building your fabulous life.
4. Assignments in-between sessions. The power of coaching happens primarily between sessions. Action and accountability is what makes coaching real, tangible, and sustainable. Your coach will make sure that you take actions that will support your immediate outcome and your continued growth.
Of course you have the option to request another coach. After each session, you will receive a follow-up call from a Customer Connection Team representative. Simply share your request at that time and we’ll work with you to figure out the appropriate next steps.
The Customer Connection Team is 100% focused on making sure your entire youPlus experience meets (or hopefully exceeds) your expectations. In addition to answering any questions you have about getting started with a youPlus coach, the Customer Connection Team will:
- Personally match you with your youPlus coach
- Schedule and remind you of your sessions
- Conduct brief follow-up sessions with you to make sure your needs are being addressed and you’re completely satisfied with your youPlus experience
- Handle any payments
- Serve as a one-stop shop for any other needs or questions you might have
- In short, the Customer Connection Team is charged with ensuring that every aspect of your youPlus experience is as good as the coaching!
Most coaching is already done over the phone and the youPlus model is no different. Telephone coaching is ideal for anytime/anywhere access to your coach. You will also find that when you remove the many distractions and preconceptions that can arise from face-to-face contact, you can focus more on yourself and the changes you want to create. An added benefit is that it saves both valuable time and money associated with traveling to in-person meetings.
While you are free to use your session as you wish, your coach will probably encourage you to stay on-topic, as long as progress is being made. Frequent switching of focus is a typical roadblock to success.
Homework assignments are vital in the coaching process, as the vehicle for deepening the learning you discovered in your coaching session and forwarding the action you need to be taking to get what you want. While you could “get by” not doing the homework, your results would be mediocre. Why set yourself up for that disappointment? Do the homework!
If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your session you will lose one half of your session fee. Our goal here is to be fair to our coaches who have reserved time in their schedule to work with you. If you are able to give your Customer Connection Team representative at least 24 hours notice of the need to reschedule, then the penalty will not apply.
